Upcoming changes (breaking and non-breaking) in BankID Signing B2B.

Planned Changes

Removal of padesType and xadesType parameters (planned 2026-05-28)

The default signature baseline for PAdES and XAdES in B2B will be raised to Baseline‑LT. The parameters padesType and xadesType will be removed from the following APIs:

  • /v0/b2b/ades/pades
  • /v0/b2b/ades/xades

All B2B signatures created via these endpoints will be generated as Baseline‑LT, and alternative baseline types will no longer be selectable.

Impact for integrators: - The type parameters are now defined as optional and deprecated. Old calls will pass through but the result will always be LT. - Clients relying on Baseline‑B signatures should verify compatibility with Baseline‑LT.
